The game marked the return of Trevor Carrick to the lineup after missing a little more than a month due to injury, and it seemed like that was the cheat code for the game. Shawn Element continues to make a very strong case that he deserves a NHL ELC and Simon Ryfors continues to make his own case for his first NHL cup of coffee at some point in the future as cap space allows.
