Brandon Halverson allowed one goal on 19 shots before allowing one of two to convert in the PS session for the SO loss. He’s played valiantly with Tomkins up top in Tampa Bay, but man the shootout is not his bag.

SYR- NONE
BEL- Chartier

Syracuse continues to struggle offensively since Cole Koepke’s been out of the lineup, and even the injection of Dylan Duke on an ATO tonight didn’t really open the floodgates.

Rochester defeated Toronto tonight to pull even atop the division with Syracuse at the night’s end at 85 points with Syracuse holding a 5 game edge in regulation wins for the tiebreaker. Cleveland lurks three points back with a game in hand on the Crunch and Americans. Syracuse ends with a home and home against Utica. Rochester hosts Cleveland at home before ending the season and end on the road in Utica. Cleveland will move on from Rochester to two road games against the Marlies.
