It was a hellish Second Period that probably was fueled in part by the team having depleted energy levels because the flu is running through the team. Every team goes through this over the course of the year, but this has struck Tampa Bay at maybe the worst time on a big Northwest road swing where they needed 7-8 of 10 points and now they’ll be lucky to go .500 for the trip.
