Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

Less than ideal time for a losing streak.

First Period
3:04 SYR Carrick (12), (Dumont)(PP)

Second Period
10:05 BRI Andreoff (27), (Terry, Hutton)
13:56 BRI Adams (3), (Bolduc, Bardreau)
18:09 BRI Andreoff (28), (Durandeau, Terry)

Third Period
5:24 BRI Terry (19), (Andreoff, Cholowski)(PP)
17:01 SYR Balcers (6), (Dumont)(PP)
17:29 BRI Andreoff (29), (Durandeau)(EN)

The secondary scoring from guys like Fortier, Robert, and Koepke has dried up. The veterans are producing, but the three I mentioned had just two shots between them tonight.

The standings implications are not good. Utica is winning late against Laval and Rochester is in OT at the time of this posting against Wilkes-Barre-Scranton. Best case scenario, presuming Utica holds on, is they will extend their lead over Syracuse to four points and the Crunch’s lead over Rochester will whittle down to just one or two points. One of these three teams is going to get bounced down to the fourth seed and have to play a demolition derby three game series rather than getting a bye in the first round, and Syracuse isn’t stacking the points they need to this week to stay in the clear.
