Madness reminiscent of a Crunch game.
TB-6
BUF-5 (OT)
Brian Elliott allowed five goals on 37 shots for the OT win. He allowed two howling softies in the Third Period only to redeem himself on a breakaway in OT. Pure madness.

The Lightning came out flat as a pancake and had no business getting spotted a 2-0 lead. They eventually allowed Buffalo to equalize and that’s where it sat after 40 minutes while still playing flat hockey. Buffalo then got the two soft goals in the final frame and it appeared doomed before the Lightning struck back with the three unanswered on their way to the pay windah. Pure madness. They deserved zero, and they got both points in the end.
Cole Koepke was -1 with 2 penalty minutes and 1 hit in 8:52 returning from injury.
Nick Perbix had 1 shot and 1 hit in 14:16 also returning from injury. Looked a bit out of the groove he was in before he got nicked up. Hopefully he settles back in now.
