Minnesota’s horrible and the Lightning treated them accordingly. They’re headed on the road now and if they want to get back in safer playoff pursuit territory, they really need to extend this winning streak another two or three games if they can, at least. The four game streak has been great, but the hole they dug for themselves so far this season is deeper than it superficially appears.
Waltteri Merela had his first NHL point and goal and was +1 with 1 shot, 2 hits, and 1 blocked shot in 7:26.
Max Crozier had 3 shots, 1 hit, and 3 blocked shots in 16:12. Very active second game in the NHL after not really flashing much in his debut.
Emil Lilleberg had 6 hits and 1 blocked shot in 19:03. He’s already getting more IT than a vet like de Haan for a reason.
