Michael Eyssimont, Brandon Hagel, and Mikhael Sergachev were the game’s three stars.
It was a get right game against an opponent that isn’t very good and to the Lightning’s credit they buckled down and made the most of it. Six different goal scorers. Clean sheet. It checked all the boxes and now the team has set themselves up in a position where if they get at least two of a possible four points in the next couple of games they’ll have a successful opening 10-game segment of the year. Right now that’s the name of the game. Keep stacking 12 in 10.
Alex Barre-Boulet had a helper and was +2 with 1 shot and 2 hits in 11:24. He was also 40% on 15 draws as he took a few more tonight.
Waltteri Merala had 2 penalty minutes, 2 shots, 2 hits, and 1 blocked shot in 13:02.
Darren Raddysh had a helper and was +1 in 18:18. I’m mildly shocked he was the only player on the team without at least an attempted shot.
