Jonas Johansson stopped all 32 shots he faced for the shutout victory. He’s proving he’s a legit NHL goaltender right now, and it’s a joy to watch him calmly man his crease.

Johansson, Brayden Point, and Alex Barre-Boulet were the game’s three stars.
So many boxes checked tonight. They finally get Point on the scoreboard. They have ABB on a legit scoring streak. They didn’t allow Carolina to wildly outpace them from a possession standpoint until score effects took over in the Third Period. And now they need four of a possible six points from the next three games to close out this 10-game segment of the season to be on playoff pace, and that’s do-able.
Barre-Boulet had a goal and was +1 with 2 PIMs and 2 shots in 11:11.
Waltteri Merala had 2 shots in 12:37.
Darren Raddysh had a helper and was +1 with 1 shot and 2 hits in 18:51.
