The Lightning finish February with a 7-0-1 mark riding a seven game win streak. Tonight was not their finest effort of the month and they benefited mightily by some puck luck on Kucherov’s PP goal. Clean living and pure hearts. A month ago I know a lot of Lightning fans who were writing off the season and predicting the club would miss the postseason. Now they’re threatening to overtake Toronto and Sunrise for the division lead.
