Conor Sheary, Derrick Pouliot, and Tomkins were the game’s three stars.
One night you’re losing to Utica, one of the worst teams in the league, and the next you’re going into Hershey’s barn, the best team in the league, and beating the breaks off of them. A total squash. The Crunch outshot the Bears 32-16 in the contest. Hockey’s a funny sport.
Conor Geekie notched his first point with Syracuse in the match on a PP helper. Recent trade acquisition Ryder Korczak has 2-1-3 in four games since joining the team. Recent ATO addition from Orlando of the ECHL, Spencer Kersten, had the opening goal in his first AHL game. Kersten is a late-blooming 24 year old forward who split his NCAA career between Princeton and Bowling Green.
