Jujhar Khaira was the game’s second star.
The Crunch had very near their first choice lineup with returning vets like Gabriel Dumont and Gage Goncalves’ return to the club from Tampa and they had two opportunities to seal the second point late in regulation and in the third round of the Shootout and they just couldn’t capitalize. They outshot Providence 39-31 and probably deserved a little better than they got, but they couldn’t make that one more play to get it over the line.
