Tomkins and Dylan Duke were the game’s first and second stars. Duke snapped a five game streak without a point with the goal. Max Groshev’s insurance goal came on a classic power forward rush around the corner and straight to the front of the net. 50% strength and speed and 50% shambolic defending by the Comets.
