Tomkins, Jack Finley, and Tristan Allard were the game’s three stars.

Last night Syracuse wildly outshot Springfield and didn’t get a result. Today, on the tail end of a long 3 games in 3 days weekend, the script was flipped as Tomkins got Syracuse the two points despite the Crunch being outshot 43-26 in the match.

Syracuse cashes in the game in hand on Cleveland to pull two points ahead of the Monsters in the North Division title race. Both teams have 10 regular season games left on the docket and Syracuse holds the tiebreaker with a six game advantage in regulation wins. Syracuse faces Rochester at home on Wednesday as we get down to the nitty gritty.
