Two huge road points.

TB-5
FLA-3

Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 50 shots for the victory. Sunrise was given way too many PP looks.

Steven Stamkos and Vasilevskiy were the game’s first and second stars.

Crazy game with all the viciousness and intensity you’d expect between the Lightning and their clown little brothers in Sunrise. Even strength expected goals were pretty close, but the Lightning gave Sunrise way too many power play opportunities. That and the early 4-0 lead pushing the game into score effects really helped skew the shot totals toward the Panthers. I’m sure the Lightning won’t apologize for taking two key road points even in a game where they only manage 16 SOG.
