Gabriel Dumont and Cole Koepke were the game’s first and second stars.
It would be foolish to suggest the team hasn’t been hurt by the absence of all-star Jack Thompson, but they keep manufacturing ways to win. They’re 6-3-1 in their last 10 games and with Cleveland losing tonight they pulled within three points of the division lead with a game in hand on the Monsters.
You will not see a crisper display of puck movement than on the winning PP goal by Dumont. ABB and Gonzo put it on a tee. Pure poetry.
