Season possibly back on the brink?
TB-2
NYI-6
Jonas Johansson allowed six goals on 24 shots for the loss. You want your backup to give you a chance. He didn’t tonight.

NO SCORING
This team seems to be in emotional free fall after the catastrophic leg break by Mikhail Sergachev. They were not in a position to go on a losing streak, standings-wise, and they suddenly look like a team that’s struggling with its identity. The All-Star break came at a bad time and there’s no good time for your second best d-man to break two bones in his leg, but here we are. Season feels like its on life support again all of a sudden.
Mitchell Chaffee was -1 with 2 hits in 9:39. Honestly, I haven’t felt he’s been all that noticeable the past two games.
Emil Lilleberg was -2 with 2 shots, 2 hits, and 2 blocked shots in 18:53. Absolutely clobbered Brock Nelson on a zone entry in the Second Period, in what was one of the few Tampa Bay highlights in the game.
