Victor Hedman, Nick Paul, and Steven Stamkos were the game’s three stars.
The Lightning finish the fifth ten game segment of the season with 59 points. That means they’re just a lone point off comfortable playoff pace, which a couple of weeks ago seemed unthinkable given the size of the hole they’d dug for themselves. My only regret is the all-star break coming up at the wrong time. When you’re rolling like this, you don’t want or need a pause.
Waltteri Merela had 3 hits in 9:37.
Mitchell Chaffee had 1 shot and 2 hits in 9:50.
Max Crozier was +1 with 2 hits and 1 blocked shot in 16:56. Had a much more sound game defensively tonight.
Emil Lilleberg was +1 with 2 penalty minutes, 1 shot, and 5 hits in 17:26.
