Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point were the game’s first and second stars.
Tampa Bay managed a paltry 19 shots on goal prior to Philly’s goalie pulls at the end of the game. It’s not good enough and it’s not sustainable and the road play has generally been awful, but points are points at a time where they’ve got to have them so I suppose I can’t complain too much.
Alex Barre-Boulet had 1 shot in 8:57.
Max Crozier had a helper for his first NHL point and was +1 with 2 shots, 1 hit, and 2 blocked shots in 14:03. He’s likely on his way down with Erik Cernak set to return from IR, but before he goes he’s undoubtedly helped his stock within the organization for the future.
Emil Lilleberg was +1 with 2 hits in 16:38.
