Sean Day, Gage Goncalves, and Tomkins were the game’s three stars.

Rather than chopping up chemistry, the recent rash of recalls to and from Tampa Bay seems to have refreshed both teams. For the first time in years, there’s some real wiggle room for advancement in the organization and that brings a certain excitement with it, I’m sure. Tonight, you had Gage Goncalves with assists in triplicate, Jack Thompson even more firmly planting himself in the top-10 in the league in scoring amongst defensemen, and yet another Jack Finley two point game.

Cleveland fell to Lehigh Valley tonight, so things are getting interesting in the divisional race with Syracuse on this hot streak. They’re now two points back of the Monsters for the top spot with Cleveland still holding a game in hand.
