Behold, the rise of the Bank Manager.

TB-4
MIN-1

Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 23 shots for the victory. Didn’t have a ton of work against Minnesota’s pop gun depleted lineup.

Darren Raddysh and Victor Hedman were the game’s first and second stars.

Darren Raddysh had 2 goals and was +2 with 4 shots, 2 hits, and 1 blocked shot in 25:41. He’ll sleep well tonight. He graduates from prospect status on the site with one more appearance this season.

Declan Carlile was +1 with 1 hit and 2 blocked shots in 11:27 in his NHL debut. I thought he looked scared and timid for his first few shifts of the game and then started to settle in the second half of the First Period. He’s a classic Lightning puck mover so he’s at his best moving up the ice and he looked his best in this game joining the play. First step acceleration and pivot-stiffness were demerits, in my opinion, but now he’s seen the speed of the NHL game and knows how tall that mountain is. On balance, it turned out to be a good debut though.
