Waltteri Merala, Tristan Allard, and Mitchell Chaffee were the game’s three stars. Merala’s 1-2-3 on the night has him with 2-3-5 in 7 games since being sent to Syracuse.
Hershey’s the top team in the Atlantic Division, so it was no small feat for Syracuse to handle them as well as they did. The Crunch still sit it second in the North Division, now just one point back of a Cleveland squad that’s almost as red hot as Syracuse.
