Syracuse outshot Belleville 33-26 in the matchup. Maxim Groshev has started his North American career with 2-5-7 in his first 9 games. My expectation for European prospects coming over to North America is usually that they have a slow first half in the AHL and ramp up from there, so Groshev performing this well already certainly bodes well. He’s a player who, athletically, has the tools to be a NHL player and he’s been above expectations since jumping the pond, IMO.
