One of the really interesting features of this team early on under Coach Joel Bouchard has been that the team is scoring a lot of goals, but it hasn’t been the product of one guy going off statistically. Tonight you had seven different goal scorers and five guys with two-point, multi-point games. Everyone participates. Everyone prospers. That helps a team develop a lot of positivity in the locker room when everyone’s getting their cookies.
Through seven games the team has a hefty +14 goal differential. Makes one wonder aloud if the pundits who have been rating the Lightning’s prospects as among the worst in the league don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
