The pivotal moment of the game was probably a Second Period play where Daniel Walcott had a breakaway coming out of the box and rung the post. That was as close as they came to solving Malcolm Subban in the contest. Now they’ll return to Syracuse next Saturday to settle the series. Good news: captain Gabriel Dumont will definitely be back from serving a two game suspension. Possible really good news: the Lightning could conceivably send Darren Raddysh to Syracuse for the rest of their playoff run. It’s unknown if they will, but the possibility is on the table.

Syracuse signed QMJHL free agent centerman Tristan Allard to a two year deal earlier this week. Allard, whose father is the Avs skills coach, had two shots in his Syracuse debut today.
