Lightning end regular season with a celebration.

DET-0
TB-5

Brian Elliott stopped all 32 shots he faced for the shutout victory. If that’s his last NHL start, it’s a perfect way to go out.

First Period
7:49 TB Killorn (27), (Cirelli, Colton)

Second Period
NO SCORING

Third Period
7:27 TB Hagel (30), (Point, Killorn)
10:47 TB Point (50), (Kucherov, Sergachev)(PP)
15:59 TB Point (51), (Hagel, Sergachev)(EN)
19:50 TB Eyssimont (5), (Colton)

Brayden Point, Elliott, and Brandon Hagel were the game’s three stars.

It’s a meaningless game, but the Lightning did tie up all the personal interest stories pretty neatly. Point got his 50th and Hagel got his 30th, which are first time milestones for both players. Elliott got a shutout in what I would guess is probably his last NHL start barring disaster. Heck, even Mikey Eyssimont opened his Lightning goal scoring account. It doesn’t change the low grade feeling of dread I have going into the playoffs, but it was a nice treat for a fan base that hasn’t had much to get super excited about over the last month.

Darren Raddysh is +1 with 3 shots and 3 hits in 22:02.
