Unfocused start dooms Tampa Bay at MSG.
TB-3
NYR-6
Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed six goals on 37 shots for the loss. The mini-break the team has gotten the past few days disrupted the heater Andrei was on, sadly.

The team was just mentally checked out in the opening frame. Understandable after a month long stretch where the team was playing pretty much every night capped by clinching the playoffs and then a few days off and a night in New York City. I get it. It’s still not acceptable, but I get it.
Darren Raddysh had his first NHL goal 4 shots, 1 hit, and 3 blocked shots in 17:34.
