All’s well that ends well.

TB-3
DAL-1

Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed just one goal on 29 shots for the victory in a masterful performance. Call me crazy, but I’d say that game against Sunrise was a wake up call he took personally.

Anthony Cirelli and Vasilevskiy were the game’s first and second stars.

There’s been some angst about Anthony Cirelli’s lack of production despite a decent number of chances he’d been getting. Tonight the greasy goal aficionado drove the bus for the Lightning in a big road win against the Western Conference’s top team in the standings. At the risk of being a prisoner of the moment, watching the Lightning dismantle two of the West’s best teams without Nick Paul in the lineup leads me to believe that this season the real test is getting out of the East where every club has spent the last three years loading up to try to get through Tampa Bay.
