Hugo Alnefelt allowed just one goal on 34 shots for the victory. His save percentage for the season rose to .917 as the sample size grows to justify the claim of a breakout campaign.

Gage Goncalves, Alnefelt, and Gabriel Fortier were the game’s three stars. The goals have been the one thing lagging a bit in Gonzo’s stat line so it’s great to see him get a couple today. Also great to see Sean Day’s first multi-point game of the year after notching 40 points a season ago but only eight to date this season. Rudolfs Balcers also had a helper in the first game of his post-injury conditioning stint.
