Weird night ends in resounding defeat.

First Period
14:30 MIN Eriksson-Ek (13), (Addison, Foligno)

Second Period
7:09 MIN Kaprizov (21), (Boldy, Addison)(PP)
9:27 MIN Addison (3), (Hartman, Boldy)
13:37 TB Point (22), (Hagel, Kucherov)
15:35 MIN Steel (7), (Spurgeon)

Third Period
17:57 MIN Kaprizov (22), (unassisted)(EN)

With illness presumably setting into the locker room and the late starter change it really was an off night for the Lightning. Making matters worse, Minnesota got a puck luck goal in the First Period and a power play goal against the run of play in the Second Period that made the wheels fall off. The Lightning had their chances to make it a game, mind you, but they didn’t pot those chances when they came.

Nick Perbix was -1 with 3 shots and 1 hit in 11:44. It’s a very different game if he finishes the big chance he got from Kucherov in the Second Period.
