Lightning undergo a little stock correction in Toronto.
TB-1
TOR-4
Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 38 shots for the loss. He gave the team in front of him a chance, but getting outshot 40-19 as a club just isn’t good enough.

Tampa Bay has made a lot of strides in the last month to try to climb back into the divisional race with Toronto and Boston, but in the process I don’t think they’ve played too many teams the caliber of Toronto and Boston along the way. Tonight was a good wake up call about the technical precision and intensity that’s needed against these better teams. The Lightning do have that gear, but they didn’t kick it in tonight, sadly.
Nick Perbix had 2 shots in 16:54.
