Gabriel Dumont, Gemel Smith, and Gage Goncalves were the game’s three stars. Goncalves had assists in triplicate tonight and now has 19 points in 25 games.
A common critique of this team has been inability to protect leads in the Third Period, so to see some good habits forming on that front is incredibly promising. It’s the thing that can take Syracuse from good to great this season. Syracuse again leaps Cleveland into third in the North Division, two points back of Rochester and four points back of Toronto.
