Read Time:1 Minute, 3 Second

Lightning neuter toothless cats.

FLA-1
TB-4

Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 25 shots for the victory, and that one goal was actually put in by Sergachev if that gives you any indication how outstanding he was tonight.

First Period
8:40 TB Maroon (1), (Cirelli, Foote)

Second Period
6:02 FLA Dalpe (2), (Mahura, E. Staal)

Third Period
3:03 TB Point (14), (Kucherov, Hagel)
7:22 TB Sergachev (5), (Foote, Namestnikov)
16:45 TB Stamkos (15), (Killorn, Paul)

Vasilevskiy, Brayden Point, and Cal Foote were the game’s three stars.

After surviving an early storm, the Lightning effectively strangled Sunrise’s offense to death tonight en route to holding them to just 25 shots. Honestly, that team’s going to struggle to make the playoffs because they’ve lost their identity between trading Huberdeau and the system change with Maurice. They look like a very mediocre, very mortal hockey team.

Sunrise should burn those reverse retro jerseys. They’re f’ing hideous.

With three games left in this ten game segment, the Lightning are one point off what they need for playoff pacing and two points off of a successful segment.

Nick Perbix was -1 with 1 shot, 1 hit, and 1 blocked shot in 13:08.
