Tonight’s game was like a great action movie. Dramatic plot twists including the Lightning gifting Toronto the opening goal and both teams having goals waved off on video review. I laughed. I cried. And in the end the good guys won. All in all, a hard fought game where the Lightning proved themselves up against a division rival I know they were up to play. And, with Anthony Cirelli’s return, almost instant improvement from the bottom six with Namestnikov finally getting his first goal of the season.

Nick Perbix had 2 penalty minutes and 2 blocked shots in 10:08. The experiment of pairing he and Bogosian together was… ahhhhh… not something I feel should’ve been tried.
