Jared Lukosevicius had one goal in 10 games before his hat trick tonight, because the Syracuse Crunch can make millionaires out of paupers. It’s sad and it’s frustrating to see a clearly talented group of players neglect that end of the rink and repeatedly get bitten by it. Reinforcements are reportedly coming with Phil Myers going on waivers and Cole Koepke going down to make room for Anthony Cirelli to be reactivated. Something’s got to give, though, because giving up four goals a game, on average, it pitiful.
