Syracuse is now 1-4-3 to start the campaign. Eight games in and they only have one regulation win. The Crunch have been notoriously slow starters the past few campaigns and Groulx usually gets things turned around after a month or two. But, man… this game is really difficult when you have to work 2-3 times as hard as your opponent for goals. Syracuse actually outshot Rochester 26-21 on the night.

Congrats to Jack Thompson on his first pro goal. It’s a shame the photo of him holding the puck looks like the screen cap of a hostage video because of what a rough night it was for the team.
