Sometimes this Lightning team gets an early goal and they get a little fat and happy thinking it’ll be easy and they forget to play the rest of the game. Tonight, I would say they forgot to play the final 40 minutes, and although Elliott papered that over in the Second Period he couldn’t pull their bacon out of the fire in a Third Period that is embarrassing for a team this caliber.
Gabriel Fortier had a hit in 8:25.
