Desperate Crunch get a big performance from the bullpen to push the series to the brink.

Max Lagace stopped all four shots he faced for the win before being injured in a goalmouth collision. Rookie Hugo Alnefelt stopped all 24 the rest of the way to seal the team’s shutout victory.

Anthony Richard and Cole Koepke were the game’s first and second stars. Both are having a good playoff season thus far with Richard sitting on 3-2-5 in four games and Koepke with 2-1-3 in four games.
Now the scene shifts back to Syracuse for a decisive Game Five. All things being equal, I’d feel pretty good about Syracuse’s chances after outshooting Laval 37-28 in Laval’s barn with their backs against the wall. Things aren’t even, though, with Lagace hurt and a question mark for the deciding game of the series on Tuesday night.
