Regrettable throwaway game, much like the end of the regular season last year. It’ll be an interesting game next time out with the possibility that Boston, with a Lightning loss, could bump Tampa Bay over to the other bracket to play Carolina in the first round. It’s six, one half dozen to me between Toronto and Carolina, but the Lightning could at least point to the fact they beat the Hurricanes last season. It might also get them out of an Atlantic bracket that looks like a murderer’s row. Hmmm.
