Max Lagace on a heater?

CLE-0
SYR-4

Max Lagace stopped all 21 shots he faced for his second shutout win in his last three starts. That’s also three quality starts in his last four. Maybe he saved all his best for last this season?

First Period
18:45 SYR Labrie (6), (Day, Green)

Second Period
13:42 SYR Koepke (18), (Hudon, Barre-Boulet)
17:42 SYR Barre-Boulet (12), (Claesson, Nash)

Third Period
0:17 SYR Goncalves (14), (Raddysh, Richard)

Lagace, Alex Barre-Boulet, and Cole Koepke were the game’s three stars. Koepke’s 18 goals is tied for 5th among AHL rookies at the moment. Sean Day also registered his 30th helper of the season in the win, leaving him tied at the moment for 5th among league defensemen in scoring.

Syracuse ties Rochester for second in the division in points with the victory and also tied with Rochester for 4th in points percentage. Laval, Toronto, and Belleville still have a ton of games in hand, but so long as Syracuse keeps winning they keep the pressure on those teams to have to cash those games in hand or lose out.
