At least tonight there’s a fair excuse that can be given in terms of how the game has been officiated. It feels like the balance of calls has been skewed heavily since the game when Cooper got a send off a few weeks ago. You’d hope at some point the statute of limitations runs out on the pettiness of the referees soon.
Nikita Kucherov had seven shots on goal in the game. When those flood gates open he’s probably going to go on a pretty wild heater.
