Danny Walcott was the game’s third star.

That’s painful. Syracuse scratched and clawed to get a lead in the Third Period and just couldn’t hold it. A regulation win would’ve been an amazing result. The Crunch came into the game tied with Belleville, Toronto, and Laval for third in the division in points at 55 with all three teams holding games in hand. So a regulation win against Toronto would’ve been ideal. Instead, yes, Syracuse temporarily moves to 4th in points, but they’re sixth in winning percentage. They need regulation wins in these divisional games.
