Victor Hedman and Anthony Cirelli were the game’s first and second stars.
We’re just entering December, so there’s a lot of road to travel before the postseason, but my grand unified theory of the season remains that if Vasilevskiy and Hedman are both healthy and playing at or near their respective Conn Smythe winning forms, the Lightning have more than a puncher’s chance of winning it all yet again. So, when you see Victor Hedman starting to show flashes again, it’s exciting. Very exciting.
