Anthony Cirelli, Vasilevskiy, and Erik Cernak were the game’s three stars.

The Lightning have done this a few times the past couple of years. They get themselves up against a hard place where 3-4 games before the end of a 10-game segment they look like they’re going to dig themselves a big hole in the standings. And then, just as quickly as the problem develops, they bear down and go on a streak and end up having a successful segment. With tonight’s win, the Lightning sit on 11 points through 9 games, meaning they just need a point in the segment finale to be comfortably on playoff pace.

Alex Barre-Boulet had a helper and was -1 with 1 shot and 1 hit in 10:40.

Taylor Raddysh had a helper with 1 shot and 1 hit in 7:32. Congratulations to Taylor on his first NHL point.

Cal Foote had 1 shot and 1 blocked shot in 9:36.

Ross Colton had 2 shots and 1 hit in 13:10. He was also 38% on 8 draws.
