It’s been a horribly frustrating first half dozen games to the 2020-21 campaign. The effort, with the exception of the opener, has generally been ok but the payoff continues to be elusive. And, it’s put the Lightning in the position where they may have a hole to climb out of to start the year. By our 12-in-10 rule, the Lightning will have to claim 7 of the next 8 possible points to be on comfortable playoff pace to close the 10-game segment. At a certain point, the offense needs to start providing goals, the goaltending and defense needs to get tighter, and the Lightning need to start stacking W’s.
Alex Barre-Boulet had 1 hit in 14:34 in his return to the club since his waiver sojourn to Seattle.
Boris Katchouk had 1 shot and 1 hit in 11:38.
Taylor Raddysh had 2 shots and 1 hit in 11:46.
Ross Colton was -1 with 3 shots and 1 blocked shot in 13:20. He was also 44% on 9 draws.
