There’s not any good way to put lipstick on this one. Playing a hybrid lineup of NHL’ers, Tampacusers, and a sprinking of junior hopefuls, the Lightning saw some players get nicked up en route to losing 6-2. With the team facing three games in three nights, it’s pretty clear the team packed it in after falling down by three goals after 40 minutes. They’re pacing themselves and it’s not like you can win the Stanley Cup in September… except, you know, that one time the Lightning did.

Alex Barre-Boulet was +1 with 3 shots in 17:19.

Boris Katchouk had 2 penalty minutes and 2 hits in 15:27.

Simon Ryfors was -1 with 2 penalty minutes and 1 shot in 15:52.

Taylor Raddysh was -2 in 19:27.

Cole Koepke was -1 with 1 shot, 1 hit, and 2 blocked shots in 12:39.

Antoine Morand was -1 with 1 shot and 3 hits in 11:53. He was also 67% on six draws.

Jack Thompson was -1 with 2 shots in 17:43.

Sean Day was -1 with 1 hit in 15:09.

Sean Element was -1 with 4 shots, 2 hits, and 1 blocked shot 13:35. Might be time for him to get some kind of pro contract.
