I almost can’t get mad losing in OT to the guy with one of the coolest names in hockey, Jett Woo. He sounds like he should be making action movies.

Syracuse’s top line is getting a lot of attention, and rightfully so, but Ryan Lohin has quietly solidified himself as the team’s #2 centerman right now. He had 1-1-2 tonight and over the last eight games he has a very respectable 5-3-8. None too shabby for the 24 year old UMass product. If you’re wondering who the next Ross Colton stealth prospect surprise might be, Lohin’s throwing his hat into the ring late in the AHL campaign.

With their helpers tonight, Raddysh and Katchouk continue their assaults on the AHL scoring standings. With some games out west to be played tonight, Katchouk has moved into a tie for 2nd in the league in scoring with Raddysh currently tied for 13th. They might not end the night that way, but even on a low-key night by their standards they did a bit more climbing.
