Taylor Raddysh and Boris Katchouk were the game’s first and second stars.

With an eventual scoring change on the GWG, Taylor Raddysh officially ended the night with a hat trick and four points. Boris Katchouk, who was originally awarded that goal, just had to settle for assists in triplicate while their center, Otto Somppi, had a goal and an assist. This line has been a little quiet for about a week, but their explosion tonight really propelled them back into the forefront of the AHL scoring race. Katchouk currently sits in 5th in the league in scoring with 32 points in 27 games. Raddysh has moved up to a tie for 13th in the league with 28 points in 24 games and it’s probably fair to say were it not for his recall to the taxi squad a month or so ago he’d probably be neck and neck with Katchouk right now. Somppi is tied with several others for 20th with 25 points in 28 games.
