Syracuse had gotten a little spoiled with one of the deeper rosters they’ve had in forever with Mitchell Stephens down on conditioning assignment. The Lightning’s recall of Mitchell Stephens and Alex Barre-Boulet just radically altered the team’s depth and quality and you see the results. Not only did Syracuse lose 5-1, but they were drastically outshot 47-25 as they really got played off the ice the final 40 minutes of the game.
