Alex Green was the game’s second star with a pair of early assists. Pairing partner Dmitry Semykin also had helpers in duplicate. Newcomer Antoine Morand potted a quick goal in his Syracuse debut. Boris Katchouk extended his goal scoring streak to four games.
This was arguably the best roster that Syracuse has been able to put forth in a while with Mitchell Stephens down from Tampa Bay on a conditioning assignment and the addition of Antoine Morand. The center depth helps unlock the talent on the wings, and you see the results.
Syracuse scoots up to fourth in the North Division with their fifth straight victory and now sit three games over .500. Ben Groulx is a coaching warlock.
