Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 38 shots for the victory. Made some key stops. Got some luck/help, too.

Brayden Point, Vasilevskiy, and Ross Colton were the game’s three stars.
That wasn’t a Picasso. In fact, the Second Period looked a lot like Dogs Playing Poker. And, Ryan McDonagh’s return came just as Jan Rutta found himself on the shelf, so the Lightning are far from healthy and whole. But, in net, the scales tipped to Tampa Bay for a club that’s lost some one goal games so it’s not like they’ve been getting blown out. It’ll continue to be spackle and duct tape until Cernak and Rutta return, but tonight they scratched together what they needed to get the two points.
Cal Foote was +1 with 1 shot, 1 hit, and 2 blocked shots in 15:31. Got absolutely torched on Robinson’s go-ahead goal, but his fellow rookie Colton helped bail him out.
Ross Colton had the GWG and was +1 with 2 shots and 1 hit in 11:02. He was also 14% on 7 draws. I don’t know how you can take him out. The Lightning may now have the best fourth line in hockey because of the instant chemistry since Colton’s been injected into the lineup out of necessity.
